Meet Our Team

david

David Kivitz

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer at XS Financial
He was previously the Managing Partner of Alta Verde Group (“AVG”), a company he co-founded in 2009 to purchase distressed real estate assets that resulted from the housing market crash. The company was ranked the #3 Fastest Growing Private Company in 2015 by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Before AVG, David was an Investment Analyst at Hamilton Lane Advisors (NASDAQ: HLNE) and CapitalSource.

David graduated with a BBA from George Washington University and is a member of Young President’s Organization (YPO) Philadelphia chapter.

Antony Radbod

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at XS Financial
He was previously the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Archytas Ventures (“AV”), an investment firm he founded in 2017 to provide structured financing to middle-market businesses.

Before AV, Antony co-founded Pollen Partners, a venture capital firm focusing on SaaS technologies, digital targeting, and data mining, and was the lead investor and co-founder of Nobody Media, which was acquired in 2016.

Earlier in his career, he served as an advisor to Alta Verde Group, successfully raising equity through a family office in Indonesia.

Justin Vuong

Chief Financial Officer at XS Financial
Justin is the Chief Financial Officer at XS Financial. At XS Financial, he is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy, ensuring the company’s financial health, compliance, and shareholder value.

Before joining XS Financial, Justin worked as an investment banker at Roth Capital Partners in their Business Services and Consumer Group focusing on capital markets and sell-side M&A advisory. Justin began his investment banking career as an Analyst at Mufson Howe Hunter, a Philadelphia-based boutique investment bank.

Justin graduated with an MSF from Villanova University and a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jim Bates

Director of Risk & Credit at XS Financial
Jim oversees the credit risk management and underwriting for the company's capital deployment strategies.

Previously, Jim was the Manager of Credit Administration at Arvest Equipment Finance, where he led credit and pricing functions, doubling transaction volumes and reducing delinquency rates during his tenure. Before that, he served as Senior Credit Manager at CHG-MERIDIAN USA, responsible for credit and risk management for IT, medical, and material handling equipment across North America.

Jim began his career at Transamerica Equipment Financial Services and has held senior roles at multiple institutions, including SunTrust and AIG Commercial Equipment Finance.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance from Western Illinois University, graduating Cum Laude.
